Turtle Farm Pottery features the functional ceramic work—not of a solitary crafter, but by a small group—in this case three dedicated cooperating artists: Casey Papendieck, Noah Broomfield, and Laura Gregory, who came together from varied backgrounds in Oregon, Kentucky, and Texas. Their back stories are fully described on their website, at a page called "Meet the Turtle Team." Casey and Laura are also musicians, who perform together in a band called "The Handshake Deals."

As potters—working separately and/or together—they craft and offer for sale a breathtakingly wide variety of pottery goods, some of which can be seen on this "Crafter of the Month" page, though many more can be viewed and appreciated on their website or at either of their two physical Eastern Kentucky locations.
