LaRue County is in central Kentucky, outside the Bluegrass Region and larger population centers. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 14,193. County seat: Hodgenville, best known as the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln. Principal locations: Upton, Buffalo, Magnolia
